Power of Thought by Paul CurryPower of Thought
by Paul Curry

An incredible close-up illusion from the fertile brain of Paul Curry, the inventor of "Out of This World."

In this effect, two decks of cards are used. A spectator selects any card she wishes, and this card is placed crossways in the deck. The deck is turned face down and another face down deck is placed alongside her deck.

She removes the top card from each deck simultaneously, one at a time, and turns them face up.

The spectator continues until she comes to her chosen card—and the top card in the other pack is the duplicate of her selection! And here is the important part: it is the only card that matches throughout the entire double dealing process.

It looks like an experiment in genuine ESP or mind control, as the performer not only knew ahead of time which card she would freely select, but also placed the mate to her card in the exact same position in the second deck!

I know what you're thinking . . . fake cards, right? No. Two regular decks are used (none supplied--use your own). No marks, no duplicate cards, no forces, no stooges. And yes, the demonstration is 100% sure-fire.

This is one your audience will talk about for days after. Yet surprisingly, this miracle effect is easy to perform.

"Paul Curry has done it again. His POWER OF THOUGHT I rank somewhere within the five best card tricks [of all time]." (Bob Stull)

"One of those rare effects that can be done almost as soon as the buyer receives it. Completely baffles the spectator.” (Walter B. Gibson)

"A really amazing effect to perform for small groups.” (John Mulholland)

Magic World revised and updated edition features three new chapters, plus additional new content.
