The Invisible Pass
by Jean Hugard and Fred Braue Perhaps the most essential sleight in all card magic, this version is the holy grail and truly belongs in your working library. For decades, magicians have sought a really indetectable method for secretly bringing a card to the top or to the middle of the deck. Now there is such a pass, and one which can be used even after inviting spectators to watch the hands and cards. Much easier than the classic, two-handed pass, and yet it is so clean cut and deceptive that the best card experts have refused to believe that a pass had been made—until they saw it proven. Paul Rosini, who knows good card magic if anyone does, has written the Introduction for this book, and this is what he says, in part: "The Invisible Pass is the finest I have ever seen, a pass where you can glue your eyes on the pack and watch the performer's hands and see NOTHING. Anyone who gets this book will have a gem, a real treasure to any handler of the pack. It was worth my trip to 'Frisco just to get this wonderful move." Because this version of the sleight is so valuable, this book has been printed on quality 32-lb premium stock, comb bound, and illustrated with 14 large photographs and a summary of 14 drawings. The book is the nearest thing to personal instruction which could be devised. The text explaining each step of the action is directly under its photograph, and the text itself has been edited carefully so that the sleight is faithfully described. This version is far less difficult to accomplish than the classic two-handed pass. It's indetectible because of two simple, secret actions.
Format: Print book. Magic World revised edition includes three new chapters, plus additional edits.
