Jumbo cards "pack small and play big," so they're ideal for platform and stage shows where a normal-sized pack would get lost in the shuffle, so to speak.

Just for the sake of injecting showmanship into your act, a giant card effect makes any audience sit up and take notice. Extra-large props also inherently add a dose of comedy into the routine. Especially if you ask a spectator to shuffle the cards.

Because the cards are so oversized, the audience will credit you with possessing extra skill, too, since it’s difficult enough to simply cut the deck, let alone attempt to perform any sleight of hand with it.

We want to set the record straight, in that there aren't actually 13 tricks in the book. There's actually 14, plus a bonus chapter on how to make a swell stand to display the cards when you use them in your act. It's little touches like this that separate the amateurs from the professionals.
